Your Day-to-Day:
Design, build and support high performance, scalable and innovative frontend components
Develop and optimize high performance services
Partner with our frontend, backend engineering and DevOps teams to build and deploy services
Help build a culture of good engineering processes and practices
Work in all phases of software development
Key Projects:
Join the team that develops and maintains global Paramount+ web applications
Feature development for the web applications
Craft and build A/B tests for the web applications
Handle and optimize application dependencies
Maintain and augment secure and delightful UX experiences
You must have:
3+ years of experience with web application development
BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design, data structures, and algorithms
Deep understanding of software development and best practices
Experience developing responsive websites
Proven PHP, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, HTML ability
Solid knowledge of HTML DOM and Event APIs
Experience developing apps with VueJS and/or React
Solid knowledge of Gulp and/or Webpack
Solid knowledge of Git
Effective interpersonal skills
You might also have:
Experience with PHP frameworks like Symfony or Laravel or Zend
Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools
Working knowledge of performance and scalability challenges
Experience working with REST-API’s
Experience working in an Agile environment
Strong understanding of HTTP and Browser Capabilities
Strong curiosity about streaming technologies

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 135,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
